Independent financial advice

PJ Consult is an independent financial services company, rendering financial, legal and risk management services to our clients. The Financial GPS has been developed to assist us with discharging our responsibilities in advising our clients on our focus areas, i.e. wealth creation, wealth preservation, estate and business planning.

Methodology

Personal contact with clients is of the utmost importance to determine their personal objectives, needs and wishes, and related risks. Each plan is prepared to mirror every client's individuality and uniqueness.

About the Managing Director

Dr Philip van der Walt, the Managing Director, is also a director of Van der Walt & Van Niekerk Attorneys Inc and has attained competencies over several years enabling him to provide specialist professional services to clients.

He has a DCom and BProc degree, as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Tax Law, is a Certified Financial Planner, and has extensive experience in the financial services industry as cost accountant, legal adviser and senior manager. He is a former director of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa and the Compliance Institute of South Africa.

Licence

We are licensed in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 to provide financial services.
